Established in 1994, Altınbeşik Cave National Park surrounds the famous underground lake. The area features steep, rocky terrain and altitudes reaching up to 678 meters. You will find several historic settlements near the cave, offering a mix of regional culture and natural sights.

This traditional mountain village sits 5 km from the cave and serves as the main gateway. It features classic regional architecture along its narrow streets. Stop here to drink traditional Turkish tea before or after driving the steep descent down to the cave entrance.

Ormana is famous for its unique Düğmeli Evler, or Buttoned Houses. Locals built these historic structures using a mortar-less technique with stacked stone and exposed timber framing. Walk the streets to see these homes, and visit one of the restored houses operating as a museum or cafe.
